Old World E-Books:

First on my list is a book called The Emperor’s Edge. It is the first book in a series, to of course drag you into the mystery and madness that exists at the heart of the empire. The emperor has a kill order on his head. An enforcer is ordered to hunt down the assassin they believe to be behind the plot. Of course, everything is not as it seems.

Caroline Bingley is a wonderfully written “sequal” to Pride a prejudice. Written with a voice similar to Jane Austen’s this book will thrill the lovers of the works of Jane Austen. Caroline Bingley,  angry that she didn’t win the love of  Mr Darcy schemes to win over the heart of another wealthy bachelor. Will she win his heart or will her plan go awry?

The Scarlet Pimpernel is a classic that tells the story of a man who defies the French Revolutionaries by saving hundreds of people from the guillotine. The climax of the saga comes when a sworn enemy is determines to discover his true identity and hunt him down.

The Apothecary’s Daughter is a tale that takes the reader back to 1665  when Lilly leaves home and takes a trip to London to stay with a relative and she finds more than she was looking for and discovers clues about her mother’s disappearance. London where Lilly will learn more about her mother’s disappearance. *Note* This book is free on Audible with a trial as well as Kindle.

Modern Day Mysteries

Mountain of Lies makes number two on my list. Mountain of lies takes place in the Canadian Coast Mountain Range.  Mia, pinned by a rock slide, is rescued by an undercover cop. Not knowing who she has run into, they they both go on a run for their lives from an unruly gang of thugs.

In Twenty-Eight and a Half Wishes, Rose starts her Friday with a vision of herself dead. Instead she arrives home to find her mother dead, and she is the prime suspect. She makes a list of 28 and a half wishes she wants to accomplish before her vision comes true. She gets the help of her neighbor who has a past of his own.

Other Good Reads:

The Palace of Lost Memories is a stunning book about magic and mystery. A palace goes up seemingly overnight. No one seems to be able to get in or out. The daughter of the palace doctor manages to escape and returns via the palace guards.  However, something about the palace doesn’t sit right with her. What is the mystery of the magical palace of lost memories?

Chicken Soup for the Soul 20th Anniversary Edition. This contains all your favorite original stories plus an additional 20 for the next 20 years. It is one of the best sellers of all time and comes free on Kindle.

Hydrogen fuel cell trains could keep running on British railroads as early as 2022, as plans to acquaint energy unit innovation with the system assembles pace.

There are many different types of hydrogen fuel cells, and there are other types of fuel cells that are in production. The main hydrogen fuel cell being produced is the Polymer Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell. (PEMFC). It gives off a high power density in relation to its low operating temperature (from 60 to a range of 80 degrees Celsius that is 140 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit). This is a great advantage meaning that the fuel does not take much time to warm up before it begins to generate electricity.
